Vacancy: Digital Content Manager

Job Description

The Digital Content Manager will play a vital role in helping our campaign teams reach their goals by communicating the campaign’s message, engaging our online audiences, mobilising supporters, and ensuring a cohesive and compelling online voice.

Responsibilities

●  Write compelling copy for all social media platforms, and source or create videos and graphics as needed in coordination with other teams.

●  Support digital team in identifying opportunities for high-impact digital engagement across platforms.

●  Manage the day-to-day execution of content for social media and email in coordination with other teams.

●  Identify ways to drive audience growth.

●  Engage with online community, respond to comments and questions, and relay community input to relevant internal stakeholders.

●  Attend and capture content at campaign events.

Qualities

●  Excellent writing skills and ability to distill messaging.

●  Experience creating content and assets for multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

●  Experience in email advocacy and online fundraising.

●  Familiarity with Nationbuilder email platform.

●  Experience of working on a campaign mobilising activists and supporters.

●  Data led mindset- a focus on using evidence based approaches and understanding of audiences to drive campaign actions.

●  Willingness to serve as a resource to teams with good interpersonal skills and a commitment to quality work and outstanding service.

●  Quick, creative, entrepreneurial, and flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and opportunities in a new fast-paced endeavour.

●  Good judgment and problem-solving skills.

●  Ability to work independently, while acting as a leader and participant in complex collaborative processes.

●  Flexible work style and motivated by our campaign and to be a part of a dynamic, evolving team and organisation.

Terms & Conditions

Based in our campaign HQ office in Central London, this is a full time role until the 07 May 2020 London Mayoral Election date, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
